An end of an era, a start of a dream

Brian and Jordan at Graduation

I just graduated. It feels good to say it. So I’ll say it again- I’m done with school! Don’t get me wrong, I like school. It’s been a fantastic 4 years, but I’m ready for the big void called Real Life. Who knows what it will bring, but hey isn’t that they fun of it?

What’s Next…

It’s graduation time. Which means that I get asked “What’s Next” all the time. I usually answer with “Good Question”. I’m not sure what the future holds. What I do know is that I love making films and I will continue to make them in the future. And I also know that I’m getting married to the lovely Jordan Fisher.

This is my fiancée. She’s great.

Brian and Jordan Wedding Invitation

Our wedding invitations…

We’re getting married in June, going on a honeymoon, and then….I’m not sure. At this point, I’m not even sure what city I will be in. My options are open. I can literally do anything. Well not literally. I can’t fly. I can’t run a 3 minute mile. Too many people misuse the word “literally”. Anyway, sorry for the tangent. I’m excited that I’m not tied down to any one path.

I could find a videographer job, do freelance work, start my own business, work on programming mobile apps, and so much more. The path splits here and it’s time to start making decisions. I’m sure I’ll figure something out. I feel confident in my abilities; school has prepared me well. In the words of the great philosopher R. Kelly- I believe I can fly.

That’s it for now. I’ll just leave this here…
